Sam's is pleased to welcome back Lord Patten, who served as Governor of Hong Kong from 9 July 1992 – 30 June 1997. He is pictured here with Sham (left), Manu (right) and Roshan (far right) Melwani. As a regular customer of The Tailor of Hong Kong, he is familar with the shop, our fabrics and Sam's way of measuring up. We wish to thank Lord Patten for his years of service to Hong Kong.
Colin Powell at Sam's
We are proud to welcome Colin Powell to Sam's. The former General and Secretary of State grew up in Harlem in New York, and made a journey, via the army, to Washington. He became one of America's leading strategists, and one of the places on his map is Sam's in Hong Kong. Here he is with Manu being measured up and kitted out for the busy year ahead.
Sam's Interview
Sam was interviewed by the South China Morning Post:

Sam visited the Hong Kong Jockey Club to invigilate the Mark 6 Hong Kong Lottery. Sam's is very glad to support this major funder of Hong Kong Charity and Community Projects. There is one thing we never take chances on though: At Sam's we know that good style is always a winner.

Master Craftsman Sam

Prince Edward Flags up the Paralympics
With the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Games holding events in Hong Kong, what better time for Prince Edward, Patron of the British Paralympics Association, to visit.
He took a break from supporting the Games to get measured for a suit from Sam's, a regular destination for members of this globe-trotting family. We are very proud to welcome His Royal Highness, and applaud him in his efforts to raise the profile of such a fine event, along with the issues that it highlights.
Kookin up a Storm
The Kooks came into Sam's whilst they were in town, and Roshan even got to swap notes on shirts with Max Rafferty (above).
The rest of the band got into the swing of things, and Manu was getting the measure of the band, even whilst they all played together (below).
Sam Loves Sport
We were glad to sponsor Kowloon Cricket Club with a new set of Cricket Whites this Summer. They thanked us with this lovely advert. Sport is in the air right now, with the Olympics in full swing. We at Sam's are looking forward to seeing the equestrian events, held in our very own Hong Kong.
